Science for cubs – Molecular Biology
Science for Cubs is a project led by scientists with two main goals:
1) to bring science closer to children to spark their curiosity and highlight inventions and scientific research in an informed way, and
2) to visualize the role of women in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
With Science for Cubs, we collaborate with various researchers from multiple disciplines to address the questions and curiosities of the youngest family members.
Why are some animals bioluminescent? How can they glow? Can scientists use this knowledge to make further advancements today? If you want to discover the answers to these questions, join Claudia and Tim on this journey to explore the coolest techniques in molecular biology and learn more about bioluminescence from Liz, a scientist who works with fireflies!
